Are the redirects real 301 redirects?
Standard redirects use Shopify's built-in URL redirects, which are permanent 301s. Advanced rules with wildcards, regex or conditions run through the theme app embed in the shopper's browser.
Can I import redirects from my old platform?
Yes. Upload a CSV with from and to columns, including Shopify's own redirect export. Files of up to 20,000 rows are checked for duplicates and chains before import.
Does it write meta tags or alt text with AI?
No. Suggestions are built from templates and your product data, such as title, vendor and variant, and you preview every change before it is applied.
Will it change my theme code?
No. The app only reads your theme. Advanced rules, 404 tracking and structured data run through an app embed you switch on in the theme editor.
